Alfred Momotenko-Levitsky, Ukrainian-origin Dutch composer (Lviv, 1970) studied at the Sochi College of Arts and at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. In 1990 he was invited to perform in The Netherlands, after which he enrolled in the Brabants Conservatory (NL), majoring in percussion in improvised music. After graduating Momotenko decided to devote himself to contemporary composition and continued his study at Fontys Conservatory (Tilburg, NL).
In 2006 he graduated in composition (bachelor), in 2008 he gained with distinction his Master of Music degree at Fontys Conservatorium and the Sonology at Royal Conservatory (The Hague).
